Low-Frequency Protection

Low-frequency magnetic fields (1 Hz – 1 kHz) are generated by transformers, high-voltage lines, main low-voltage distribution boards, UPS systems, railway power systems, and tram overhead lines. In data centers and sensitive industrial environments, these fields can significantly impact electronic systems and operational stability.

According to EN 61000-4-8, electronic devices may malfunction at magnetic field strengths exceeding 3.75 µT. Many manufacturer requirements, particularly in data centers and semiconductor environments, demand even lower thresholds.
